Tabacon Hot Springs is a five star world class resort located in the rain forest jungle at the Arenal Volcano region of Costa Rica. Imagine immersing yourself in naturally heated water cascading down into several pools surrounded by lush foliage and flower gardens native to Costa Rica.

Unless you are staying at the deluxe accommodations at Tabacon or the nearby town of La Fortuna you will want to get an early start in the morning as it takes several hours (depending on the number of stops) to make the journey to Arenal from the city of San Jose… the roads are single lane highways twisting through the mountain and are poorly maintained.
